Man shot, killed after ‘prank’ robbery for YouTube video

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Police in Tennessee are investigating after a person was shot and killed Friday evening throughout a theft “prank” for a YouTube video.

In line with the Metro Nashville Police Division, officers responded to the parking zone of an City Air indoor trampoline park at 9:25 p.m., the place 23-year-old David Starnes Jr. admitted capturing 20-year-old Timothy Wilks.

Witnesses instructed detectives that Wilks and a good friend have been collaborating in a “prank” theft after they approached a gaggle of individuals with butcher knives. Starnes stated he was unaware of the prank and shot Wilks to defend himself and others.

Nobody has been charged in Wilks’ dying.

The investigation is ongoing.
