POTTERVILLE, Mich. — A person admitted that he killed a deer with a hammer in Eaton County after video of the incident was posted on social media, authorities mentioned Saturday.
The 23-year-old man from Potterville was positioned Wednesday evening, about an hour after an off-duty conservation officer was informed in regards to the video, the Division of Pure Sources mentioned.
“The video begins with the deer standing upright in the midst of the street, blinded by automobile headlights,” the DNR mentioned. “Phrases of encouragement and laughter could be heard all through the video, which lasts lower than a minute.”
The suspect claimed he was making an attempt to finish the deer’s distress after a car-deer crash, the DNR mentioned.
