Netflix's creepy trailer for 'Paranormal' series follows a professor with a troubled past

With Halloween quick approaching, the varied streaming providers have been going into horror overdrive these days. Amazon Prime is dropping 4 new Blumhouse films, Shudder has been releasing eerie trailers aplenty, and now Netflix is ramping up for a brand new (and pretty creepy wanting) authentic sequence.

Primarily based on the novels of Egyptian writer Ahmed Khaled Tawfik and set within the 1960s, Paranormal tells the story of Dr Refaat Ismail (Ahmed Amin), a professor who begins experiencing eerie visions of somewhat lady in a white costume — visions that could be related to one thing that occurred to him in his childhood.

Paranormal drops on Netflix Nov. 5.
