Neighbors, police and naval officers used black tarps to assist drive the huge animal towards the water.

“With the support of residents of Puerto Cisnes, Armada and Carabineros, it was possible to bring back the elephant seal, which traveled more than 10 blocks, finally with tarps and more than 60 neighbors was sheltered and taken to its habitat,” the tweet stated.

José Muñoz, a sergeant within the Chilean navy, informed reporters the seal had traveled fairly just a few blocks earlier than it was guided again to the ocean and away from the hazards posed by individuals and canine.
