CBS LA studies that the LAPD allegedly didn’t carry out discipline sobriety checks on a citizen who appears visibly underneath the affect. In a video uploaded to social media by witnesses, the person is seen yelling at cops and falling as he leaves the scene.

“Last Saturday, around 4 p.m., a drunk driver hit three cars on the street in front of our house. He was clearly wasted (he kept falling over) and belligerent. Based on CBS LA, the LAPD stated officers on the scene make the decision of whether or not to conduct a discipline sobriety check. Residents of the neighborhood are upset the police on the scene didn’t administer one.

Katy Wicker described the occasions to the information outlet after importing footage to her social media platforms.

“He was completely intoxicated the entire time,” she stated in line with CBS LA. “It was apparent to everyone that was there. He was yelling at everyone. He was yelling aggressive comments at police officers, at the ambulance that was there, at the tow truck driver, and he literally stumbled away.”

She continues, “We asked them why they didn’t provide him a breathalyzer test, and they couldn’t give us any answers.”
