Stage 2 of the 2020 Tour de France noticed a three-man breakaway maintain off the peloton for an thrilling end, one which put Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-QuickStep) into the yellow jersey. After to class 1 climbs within the first half of the stage, the race regrouped on the Col d’Èze, a punchy haul out of the japanese finish of Good.
