A Hoboken lady’s TikTok video of a mother-daughter duo being escorted off a Newark-bound flight for refusing to put on a face masks as passengers cheer has gone viral.
Carley Golembeski’s video, captioned “It is the entitlement for me,” was shared on Saturday and had greater than 2.6 million views as of Tuesday.
“The lady refused to put on a masks and the flight was delayed 45 minutes as she was arguing with the flight attendants,” stated Golembeski, 23. “Cops finally needed to be referred to as to escort her off the airplane.”
The elder “Karen” might be seen carrying a masks round her wrist and clapping together with the opposite passengers. She yells, “Racism at its finest,” and asks passengers if they’re filming earlier than the digital camera pans to her daughter.
“Do not discuss to my mom like that,” the younger lady says in an try to defend her mother.
“Simply go,” another person yells again an airport police officer gently pushes her off the aircraft.
Spirit Airways has mandated all passengers should put on masks on the aircraft, in lounges and at ticket counters. Those that refuse are usually not allowed to fly.
The airline had not returned a request for remark from Every day Mail as of Tuesday.
