The drama I Might Destroy You, written and directed by its star Michaela Coel, has been watched by hundreds of thousands all over the world – and in addition to being compelling TV, has helped individuals affected by abuse and trauma to have troublesome conversations.

The 12-part programme has been hailed for the boldness and authenticity through which it depicts rape, consent, black Britishness and youth tradition.
