Video has surfaced of a Russian powerlifter’s extraordinarily grotesque damage to his knees whereas making an attempt to squat a ton of weight.
Alexander Sedykh, a Russian powerlifting champion, was making an attempt to squat at a World Uncooked Powerlifting Federation occasion close to Moscow.
Sadly, Sedykh suffered a particularly grotesque damage to his knees throughout the carry. He was making an attempt to squat roughly 880 kilos and his knees gave out throughout the carry.
Sedykh suffered extreme accidents to his knees and his quadriceps, each of which required surgical procedure. Video of the damage has been posted to YouTube.
WARNING: The video is extraordinarily graphic.
TMZ Sports activities had some particulars on the brutal damage:
Instantly, Sedykh is in severe ache … and after he was rushed to the hospital, he reportedly required hours of surgical procedure to repair his damaged legs and quadriceps muscular tissues.
“The main thing is that I must lie motionless in bed for two months,” Sedykh reportedly stated of the accidents. “Then I’ll be taught how to walk again.”
He added, “It’ll take time to recuperate” and “I’ve had my quadriceps re-sewn and my knees put back together.”
Our ideas are with Sedykh has he recovers from his damage. Hopefully he’ll be again at 100 % very quickly.
