A dancing video from Milwaukee went viral on TikTok. Now it'll air on CBS' 'The Greatest #AtHome Videos.'

A viral TikTok video that includes instructors at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Milwaukee is prepared for prime time. 

The clip, set to reggaeton dance tune “Scooby Doo Pap Pap” by DJ Kass, has been seen by practically four million folks because it was posted on TikTok June 25. Now it’s going to be seen by thousands and thousands extra on CBS’  “The Biggest #AtHome Movies,” hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The episode airs at 7 p.m. Friday regionally on WDJT-TV (Channel 58).

The video was posted by Sasha Kharchenko, who started dancing in her native Ukraine when she was 5 and have become a Fred Astaire teacher in 2017, in line with her bio on the dance studios’ website. 

Kharchenko is not the primary individual from the Milwaukee space to have a video featured on CBS’ “#AtHome.” 

A clip of 97-year-old World Battle II veteran Chuck Franzke from Waukesha dancing to Justin Timberlake’s “Cannot Cease the Feeling!” went viral on Twitter in April, and was praised by Timberlake himself throughout a Sirius XM Hits 1 interview. That clip aired on the CBS present in Could.
